| This walk is inspired by the loving memory of my boy Deizel. He crossed the bridge September 8th 2009. He was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma (canine bone cancer) (caninecancer.com) Watching my gentle giant endure the stages of such an aggressive cancer will forever be with me, especially having to say goodbye to such a magnificent animal. To keep his memory alive and honor his life, I want to help educate people about this cancer and other canine diseases, as well as the great strides that the University of Georgia’s Pathology Department for Canine Cancer are making. |
